| I attended the wing ceremony yesterday and my parents came down for it..and as expected i got no prize...hahaha...but i got the wing for my uniform now..
Mark Woodhouse (2nd officer of Air NZ and paper co-ordinator of paper 190.320) handed me the wing and seems to recognised my name and talked to me afterwards..reminding me to hand in my assignment by 23rd..sign......
The day before I backseated a flight to Gisbourne..since I am so bored these days and wanted to sit in a plane..
The only thing i could do was playing with the instrument while the others are flying..and it was sky clear so it was fantastic for a VFR flight...The best pic of the day:

| 3 months after the last entry..haha..
This semester I took 5 papers,
190.240 Air Power
190.222 Basic Air Crash Investigation
190.308 Airport Operational Management
The above are only required to do assignments without an exam..which means I knock them off already..but I got an extension for the Air Power assignment..
190.320 Heavy Aircraft Performance 2 or equivalent to ATPL theory
190.313 Advanced Aviation Human Factors..useless subject
These two exams are already done. However, I am quite confident that 190.320 should get at least 70s or even 80s since i didnt know how to answer abt 7 questions out of 50 only..However, the assignment 2 is annoying me..
The other exam is a total screw up format exam...
negative marking of 70 yes/no questions...sounds very typical and not as difficult as it seems..but, the exams killed everyone, the 30 marks of the essay will not save u from failure if you end up getting half right and half wrong from the first section..
The reason is...35-35 = 0..even full marks with the essay..you will get 30%...havent lost that much confidence in an exam before..there was a willingless to fight for it but more or less, i m helpless to carry on..and left..i gambled on my yes/no question..same as everyone..
My goal is to finish my multi crew in December..and I am currently waiting on Cathay Pacific for the cadet application..Definately dont want to remain in Palmerston North after I have finished..but if it happens that most of us fail 313..then we must retake the paper in 2nd sem of 2008..and consequently delaying all our graduation..
However, I will get my Massey wing on the 20th this month..to me its nothing special since graduating from flying doesnt mean anything but just a start in the industry or in other words, my own career.
More like time to dig my books out and revise everything I have done from the start of 2 years ago until now..a preparation for the interview if I happen to get one..additionally, i am required to book the air tickets back to hk if that happens..sounds like another holiday trip for me, but its more like a study trip..
Cathay Pacific is not my only possible destination, Dragonair, JAL and ANA are also possible at this stage..

Went to taiwan between 13 - 16th with funhole and his family...Its a nice place with a lot of good food...cheap and delicious too...
